The effective use of technology is vital to student success, as technology touches every aspect of our daily lives in the twenty-first century. The York County School Division is a recognized leader in the use of technology to enhance learning, teaching, engagement and assessment.
The division is committed to supporting research-based best practices to provide students with the tools and resources that increase opportunities for authentic, meaningful and innovative educational experiences. New and emerging technologies are investigated and evaluated to support personalized learning in preparing all students to make productive contributions in the world.
5-Year Educational Technology Plan
The York County School Division is developing an updated Educational Technology Plan to align with the newly release VDOE Educational Technology Plan. We expect to complete our updates by December 2024.
