Seaford Elementary Students Plant Bulbs

Posted on: Monday, January 29, 2018

That dreaded word "snow" may be back in the forecast, but Seaford Elementary students have their sights on spring! Students spent some time planting bulbs in their garden, with the help of master gardener, Jody Turner, on Thursday, January 25, in order to provide more options when the Monarch butterflies return to their schoolyard habitat. Each student planted a few bulbs donated by Brent and Becky’s in Gloucester, VA. Students really enjoyed getting to dig in and help out the Monarch butterfly friends they got to raise in the fall.
