What makes his accomplishments even more impressive is that Wes has been battling neuroblastoma, a form of pediatric cancer, for five years. Through this time, his spirit, positivity and smile have not changed. Shortly after his initial diagnosis, Wes started a toy drive for the oncology patients at CHKD called Wes' Wish: Piles of Smiles for a Child with Cancer Toy Drive. Each year it grows larger and now provides Christmas for the patients, siblings, and parents.
