The division has extended one school day (Dec. 19) to address some of this lost instructional time and is now reviewing additional make-up options. We would like your input before the superintendent makes further adjustments to the 2018-19 school calendar. Division leaders have identified three possible options to schedule a full school day and provide students with important academic support during the first semester – Monday, Nov. 12, Wednesday, Nov. 21, or Thursday, December 20. Please complete a brief online survey by 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 18., to share your preference as to which day the division should use as a make-up day. Makeup plans will be announced by phone, email, and all social media platforms. A revised calendar will also be posted on the school division website and all school websites.
