GED

The York County School Division is now part of the Peninsula Regional Education Program designed for adult learners on the Tidewater Peninsula to be prepared with the knowledge, skills, and credentials necessary to excel in the 21st century economy.

As a partner in the Peninsula's work force and educational development system, the Peninsula Regional Education Program offers instruction for adult learners in basic skills, GED Certification, English skills acquisition, and workforce training to effectively prepare individuals for college, careers, and citizenship.

Adult Education GED classes are held in York County as follows:

GED Class Schedule - 2019-20

Time: Tuesday and Thursday, 6 - 9 p.m.

Location: Life Long Learning Center located next to York High School, 9300 George Washington Memorial Highway, Yorktown, VA 23692. Turn left in front of the school, turn right when you get to the circle, building is on the right with entrance around back.
