Parent University at GMSPosted on: Friday, November 21, 2014Grafton Middle School (GMS) counselors held a Parent University to share tips on study skills, time management, and strategies for staying organized. School counselor, Tiffany Grant, encouraged parents to create a weekly schedule each Sunday. When creating the schedule, students and parents work together to put in scheduled appointments. Students then plan time for homework, which includes studying, and organizing material. This is a great visual for students to see that they can dedicate time to school work and still have plenty of free time left for fun activities they enjoy! Blank copies of the weekly schedule are available on the GMS School Counseling website under Resources. |
