How will the recent Sequester legislation affect the YCSD budget?
Specific details are still not available, but initial estimates are that the division will experience a reduction of approximately $260,000 in federal funding due to sequestration for Fiscal Year 2014. It is anticipated that further reductions related to Impact Aid will be required in FY 2015. Additional information was presented to the School Board on March 11, 2013.
