Title: REPROGRAPHICS CLERK
Position Type:

Primary Function:
Maintains the efficient operation of reprographics equipment so that work can be performed within the established policies and procedures with limited supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Experience in the operation of reprographics equipment, microfilm, drill press, laminating, and related equipment, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the knowledge, abilities and skills in this field

Skill in the maintenance, adjustments, and minor repairs of a variety of duplicating equipment

Ability to quickly learn information on papers, inks, film, and other supplies used in the operation of the equipment

Exhibits use of correct English grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Ability to follow written and oral instructions

Good organizational skills

Training in use of word processing software and ability to learn other computer programs as required

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

Ability and initiative to stay abreast of new printing concepts.

Ability to move, load and unload equipment and supplies weighing 40 pounds. Participate with manual or mechanical assistance in the unloading of significantly heavier equipment and supplies.

Possess a valid Virginia operators license.

Sufficient strength, agility, and dexterity and oral and written communication skills required to perform all performance responsibilities
Performance Responsibilities:
- Operate reprographics equipment to reproduce forms, reports, bulletins, instructional guides, and other materials.

Clean and make minor repairs and adjustments to machines and maintain them in good working order.

Punch, bind, or staple documents as required by originator.

Prepare copies for distribution and distribute.

Maintain supplies and files in orderly manner

Operate trimmer, folding machine, drill press, colator, booklet maker, and other equipment which may be used in the production of printed material.

Performs other duties as assigned by Manager of Property and Warehouse Services.
Reports to:
Manager of Print/Copy Shop
Terms of Employment:
Twelve months a year. Salary according to School Board Pay Plan.
Evaluation:
Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of non-licensed employees.
