Science Lessons? Perhaps; Harvest Festival, Yes!

GBES PTA sponsored the Fall Harvest Festival with crafts, a hayride and an old-fashioned cider press. Students had the experience of chopping and pressing apples and learned about simple machines and changing solids to liquids as the apples were pressed to make fresh apple cider.
