Bowling Club Congratulations! At the Virginia High School Bowling Championships on Sunday, January 8, the Tabb High School (THS) Bowling Club was represented by three teams. Three THS teams competed in the club championships against teams from across the state and all finished the day in the top twenty five. In the Club Championships, Tabb brought home a fourth place finish with Frederick Jackson, Geoffery Preudhomme and Claire Martin. They ended just 151 pins (only a little over 8 pins per bowler each game) from getting the 1st place trophy! In addition to the club teams we had three of our five scratch bowlers in the tournament and Alec Manriquez helped to win the scratch division on an "all-star team" from the Peninsula district. Bowler's Scholarship highlights: Alec Manriquez earned $200 for 1st Place Scratch Team: Frederick Jackson, Geoffery Preudhomme, and Claire Martin earned $100/each for 4th Place Club Team: Victoria White earned $75 for High scratch game with a 214. Other Tabb Bowlers who advanced through Districts to the state tournament are: Ross Beardsley, Evan Cook, Alex Feller, Chris Kephart, Joshua Preiss, Alex Smith, and Robert White.
