Runaway with Reading Workshop at Magruder Elementary

Kay Cronan coordinated a workshop called Run Away with Reading at Magruder Elementary School (MES). It was centered on fun activities involving gingerbread. Students read The Gingerbread Boy and had gingerbread cookies and milk for a snack. Then students and parent volunteers made gingerbread play dough men. They played a gingerbread learning game, which Kay Cronan made up, by following directions to make a gingerbread ornament and a gingerbread pop-up book.
