Yorktown Middle’s Holiday Choral Concert

On December 8, the Yorktown Middle School (YMS) Chorus department held their 2011 Holiday Choral Concert in the auditorium at YMS. The program included fifteen musical selections performed by members of the Sixth Grade Beginner Choir, the Intermediate/Advanced Dance Choir, the Advanced Choir, and even the Faculty Choir. The Choral Connection Parent Booster Committee held raffles and a bake sale before and during the concert to help support the YMS Choral Department. Family and friends as well as students and staff members enjoyed the evening as the 150 plus member choir performed under the direction of Lisa McClouskey, chorus teacher at YMS. A special thanks to Mark Smeland, piano accompanist and Ida Ostrowski the announcer for the evening.
