Visiting Veterans on Veteran's Day

Tabb High School's (THS) African-American History Club, sponsored by Mary Dawson and Gwen Banks, made Veteran's Day special for Veterans in the area. The group visited the Salvation Army's Veteran Affairs Service transitional housing facility on November 11 bearing gifts. Over 60 gift bags filled with much needed items were assembled and distributed to the residents. Club members also played bingo with the Vets and gave prizes to the winners.
