York County School Division Announces Teachers of the Year

The York County School Division in conjunction with the York Foundation for Public Education, Inc. and TowneBank embarked on the Teacher of the Year prize patrol cruise around the county last week to surprise those teachers who were selected as the level teachers of the year for the York County School Division. Karen Ellard at Tabb Elementary School (TES) was named the Elementary level Teacher of the Year. Melanie Lovelace at Yorktown Middle School (YMS) was named the Middle School Teacher of the Year. Diane Brodel from Tabb High School (THS) was named the High School Teacher of the Year and also awarded the honor of being the Division Teacher of the year.
