| Students from Yorktown Middle School's (YMS) Middle Years Programme (MYP) participated in the TEDxYouth@NASA event on November 20th at the Virginia Air & Space Center in Hampton, Va. Focused on the theme, "Be Astronomical!", students engaged in a diverse array of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) activities in a scientific and technologically-rich interactive environment. Additionally, students viewed presentations from a variety of speakers, ranging from a scientist to a poet, and viewed a number of exhibits, such as the newly released Eyes on the Solar System application. |
