YCSD Remote Learning Day - February 11, 2025

Posted On: Monday, February 10, 2025

The York County School Division will implement an Asynchronous Remote Learning Day tomorrow, Tuesday, February 11, 2025. This will be an A-Day for middle and high school students. Teachers will communicate assignments and expectations by 9 o’clock tomorrow morning.

As always, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority in making a decision to adjust school schedules. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for York County. This Advisory warns that roads will likely become slick and hazardous during the day tomorrow.

So, while the forecast indicates we should be able to safely begin the school day, the potential impact on travel for the remainder of the day could impact safe dismissal for students, even if an early release were to be implemented.

Finally, we also believe providing our staff and families as much time to adjust as possible is important. Thank you for your understanding and support as we prioritize safety and learning.

Staff Schedules

  • Essential Personnel should report as directed by their supervisors.
  • All exempt staff should work remotely as they are able.
  • Non-exempt staff will be issued inclement weather leave.

If you are unsure which schedule applies, please contact your direct supervisor.
