Dr. Lisa Coons, VDOE Superintendent of Public Instruction, visited classrooms at Magruder Elementary School this morning to kick of Teacher Appreciation Week. She had the opportunity to observe - and participate - as students took part in small group instruction, writing lessons, and STEM instruction in the school's Makerspace. What better way to start your Monday then working with children? |
