The Modeling and Simulation (MOD SIM) summer camp program recognizes the importance of allowing students the opportunity to explore additional specialized areas of computer modeling and simulation in engineering design. It is not meant to supplant the regular school academic activities. Presentations and workshops are taught by a variety of Thomas Nelson Community College professors, content area professionals and specialists in areas of simulation and gaming, engineering technology, and other related fields. Students will gain knowledge about existing and future jobs that use Modeling, Analysis and Simulation, Transportation, Homeland Security, Virtual Environments, Social Sciences, Medicine and Health Care, Game-based Learning, and Business and Supply Chain Modeling.
