Project Dream Delivers to Food Bank

Yorktown Elementary School’s Project Dream students collected canned foods and cash donations for the Peninsula Foodbank. The program is in its fifth year and focuses on academic achievement, leadership development and community service. Students also attend various cultural and sports events. Mentors from the Naval Weapons Station and the College of William and Mary have participated in various events.
