THS Rocket League State Champions

The THS Varsity Rocket League team just won their third Esports state championship! Since its founding in 2020, the team has an undefeated regular season match record with over 40 victories against schools across Virginia. Congratulations to team members Preston Short, Caden Jacobsen, Josh Diaz, Tyler Shaffer, and Tai Nishikawa!

Esports is a growing form of competition using video games. The Virginia High School League (VHSL) sponsored the creation of high school Esports programs to promote student connections and provide an avenue for talented players to seek scholarships to compete at the collegiate level.
