Calendar Reminder

In October, the division announced two changes to the student calendar. Thursday, November 11 is now a Staff Workday/Student Holiday. Students who participate in regional education programs will have the option to attend programs that day or receive an excused absence. If families need information regarding transportation for those programs, please contact your school directly. Monday, December 6 will be an Early Release Day for all students.

Let’s Talk! – Ask YCSD Platform

The York County School Division has launched a new customer service tool called Let’s Talk! – Ask YCSD. While we continue to encourage our families and staff to speak directly with their teachers and building administrators first, the tool is designed to make it easier for our community to contact various TeamYCSD departments and staff members while improving efficiency for the division.

Let’s Talk! – Ask YCSD can be conveniently accessed on the yorkcountyschools.org website or through the YCSD Mobile App using your smartphone, tablet or other mobile device. To access the platform, click on the "Contact Us" button or simply click the Let's Talk! pop-out tab on the division website (the green tab on the right side of your computer screen or the green button on the bottom of your mobile screen). Then, select a topic to start a conversation with a division staff member.

Let’s Talk! – Ask YCSD will help ensure our stakeholders receive timely responses and will also help identify topics and questions being discussed across the division.

ESSER III – Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity

In accordance with the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act, school divisions must periodically review and update, as necessary, local plans for the Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services at least every six months through September 30, 2023.

Before considering plan revisions, school divisions must seek public comment. The York County School Division will accept public comments via the Let’s Talk! – Ask YCSD Form.

These flyers are neither sponsored nor endorsed by the York County School Division or the schools, but are made available as a community service for our families.
