New Principal for THS

The York County School Division is pleased to announce that Paul Rice has been approved by the School Board to serve as principal of Tabb High School beginning January 2. He will replace interim principal Royce Hart.

Mr. Rice has nearly 20 years’ experience in education, having begun his teaching career in Hanover County. In 2003, he joined the York County School division as a history teacher at York High School. During his time at York High School he taught US History, IB History, and IB Geography. He has spent the last two years as principal of Grafton Middle School and has previously served as an assistant principal at Queens Lake Middle School and York High School.

A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, he earned his master’s degree from the College of William & Mary.
