York County School Division Closed - January 17

York County School Division staff have been closely monitoring the Winter Weather Advisory for tomorrow and consulting with local emergency officials.

Multiple forecast models are predicting a high probability of snowfall in the morning hours on the peninsula, which may cause hazardous road conditions. These conditions are expected to continue throughout the day tomorrow, impacting both student arrival and dismissal times.

Given the forecast models and the 3-hour time frame needed to safely transport all students home from school, all YCSD schools and offices will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, January 17, 2018, for all students and staff. Additionally, all activities and practices are canceled tomorrow. Essential personnel should report as directed by their supervisor.
