The York High School Class of 2018 hosted the annual county powderpuff football tournament and fundraising event on Friday, May 12. Despite the rain, many came out to enjoy the festival activities, organized by the school’s Leadership class, prior to the flag football games and cheer competitions. At the end of the night, Bruton High School walked away with a clean sweep, taking home both the football trophy and the cheer spirit stick. The event raised more than $1,200 for local charities which were selected by each high school.
