Tabb High School Student Accepted into Journalism Camp

Malia Rosburg, a Tabb High School (THS) junior, will have the opportunity to study journalism at Newsroom By the Bay, a week-long camp at Stanford University in California, over the summer. Newsroom By the Bay is a camp whose goal is to grow students' love of journalism and educate them on the ins and the outs of the profession.

Students are able to experience the city of San Francisco, the location of Stanford University, as well as get a glimpse of the college life by living on campus. Students will learn from many highly qualified teachers and educators who have years of experience in the field of journalism. Malia applied for an earned grant funding for her trip through the York Foundation for Public Education, Inc.
