Grafton Middle School Student Wins International Competition

Kyle Hu, an eighth grade student at Grafton Middle School (GMS), recently participated in the Aarhus International Piano Competition in Denmark. The competition's goal is to make a serious contribution to Danish music life and encourage young pianists from all over the world. Each year, more than a hundred young musicians from around the world apply to become participants with only 40 being invited to perform in the competition. Kyle was one of only two American students invited to attend and was named the 1st place winner in his category, which featured pianists between the ages of 11 and 16.
