Yorktown Elementary School Family Dog Pawty

Yorktown Elementary School (YES) kindergarten, first, and second grade students and their families participated in a Dog Pawty in March. The event was hosted by the YES reading team. Participants enjoyed a hot dog dinner and then read their favorite books to certified therapy dogs. Families made homemade dog bones to donate to the SPCA and played dog-themed reading games during the event.
