100th Day of School

Yorktown Elementary School teachers dress as centenariansStudents and teachers are more than halfway through the school year and were delighted to participate in traditions to mark the 100th day of school on Wednesday, February 15. In addition to pretending to be 100 years old, students engaged in various lessons related to the number 100, such as bringing and counting 100 small items; wearing 100th day crowns; stringing necklaces with 100 rings; counting to 100 by 1s, 5s, and 10s; and doing jumping jacks to 100.
