Yorktown Elementary School Stock Market Champions

Yorktown Elementary School (YES) students know their stocks. A team of students in Kirsten McLeod’s was recently named the top elementary team in the statewide Stock Market Game (SMG) fall 2016 competition. Not only did they outperform all the elementary teams across Virginia, they ranked 16th of the 784 teams representing elementary, middle and high schools in the state. The students and Ms. McLeod will be recognized at the annual SMG Luncheon/Awards program held in Richmond in May.
