YCSD Science Fair

The annual York County Science & Engineering Fair took place at the Grafton School Complex on January 12. More than 280 students from across York County secondary schools competed in 17 categories. First, second, and third place winners are invited to apply to participate in the regional Tidewater Science Fair held at Old Dominion University in March.

Professional scientists and engineers from throughout the community volunteered their time to evaluate our students’ work. Over $1,000, in cash prizes and special awards, was awarded during the ceremony.
