Stuff the Bus for Wes

The York High School (YHS) Stuff the Bus for Wes hit the roads on December 8. YHS students spent the morning collecting donations from other YCSD schools. Donations were collected at York High, Yorktown Middle, Yorktown Elementary, Dare Elementary, and Seaford Elementary schools. In the end, they collected enough donations to fill the entire bus.

All the items donated will be delivered to CHKD, the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, on Monday, December 12. Parents of children being treated at the hospital will have a chance to go to the Ronald McDonald House between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to select gifts for their children.

YHS students launched the Stuff the Bus for Wes campaign in 2014 to support Wes Pak, a Seaford Elementary School student, who started his CHKD Toys for Tots drive after being diagnosed with neuroblastoma.
