Yorktown Middle School Spelling Bee Champion

Yorktown Middle School’s (YMS) Mallory Jones will represent the school at the Virginian-Pilot Spelling Bee on February 18, 2017. The YMS sixth grader survived 17 rounds against 15 other contestants to win the first Yorktown Middle School Spelling Bee. Anna Boyarinova was runner-up.

The winner of the Virginian-Pilot Spelling Bee will represent our area in the 2017 Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC.
