PTA Walk-A-Thon Celebration

Seaford Elementary School’s (SES) Parent Teacher Association, PTA, sponsored its annual Walk-A-Thon in which students were encouraged to collect pledges for the amount of laps they anticipated they could walk. This year, they raised an all-time high of more than $26,000. For exceeding their goal, students were able to silly string Principal Christina Head, Assistant Principal Lisa Jalomo and Board of Supervisor member Chad Green.

The PTA raises funds to support SES students and staff as well as enhance the educational experience by providing additional materials and volunteering. Every student walked during the fundraiser and the students raised over $17,000.
