Magruder Elementary School Girls Coding Club

Magruder Elementary School (MES) began hosting an afterschool Girls Coding Club in October. Girls from each fifth grade class have the opportunity to become “resident experts” about computer coding with Sketch and coding controlled robots. These young ladies will then be the coding assistants as the school's education technology facilitator (ETF) brings coding opportunities into each of their fifth grade classrooms during second semester. We are looking forward to seeing all the ideas they design in club and in the years to come!
