YHS Mad City Money

Posted On: Friday, May 27, 2016

BayPort Credit Union sponsored a "Mad City Money" financial simulation for York High School seniors on May 26. Each student was assigned a life in which they needed to balance family needs with personal wants, such as juggling car, home and utility payments among other surprises that happen in life. This Reality Fair is a pilot program BayPort is exploring to further the financial education of local high school seniors before they transition into life after graduation.

Shannon Butler, York High School Principal, says "This is a great opportunity for our seniors to gather insight about the "real world" and gain a valuable snapshot of adulthood."
