GMS 1,000 Book Challenge

Posted On: Friday, April 22, 2016
Reading Specialist Heather Stark challenged the students and staff at Grafton Middle School (GMS) to read 1,000 books for Read Across America. GMS readily accepted the challenge and collectively exceeded their goal in just eight weeks. For every book read, students filled out a book form, which was then placed on the Cat in the Hat display in the school's atrium. Students could then track their progress over the weeks and be challenged to keep reading.
