YCSD Ranked Best in Teacher Support

The York County School Division has been ranked as one of the best school systems for teacher support in Virginia. Teacher.org ranked school districts in Virginia, and across the country, that excel in supporting teachers inside and outside of the classroom. Of the 130 Virginia school divisions analyzed, YCSD ranked 16th. View the complete list of Virginia rankings.

School divisions were assessed on several factors, which represent how well a school district supports their teachers. Some criteria included: class size, administrator and support staff availability, and student proficiency levels. You can read more on the methodology here.
