YCSD Students Advance to National Competition

Three York County School Division students earned first place honors at the state level of this year’s PTA Reflections program. The PTA Reflections contest is a national initiative founded in 1969 that encourages students to express themselves through the arts and be rewarded for their effort. The theme of this year’s contest was “Let Your Imagination Fly.” The following students' submissions will move on to the national level of the competition:

Oliver Sherwin - 1st Place, Film Production (Tabb Elementary School)
Caden Kuniyoshi - 1st Place, Music Composition (Tabb Elementary School)
Margaret Roquemore - 1st Place Literature (Tabb High School)

In addition, Sophie Scheeran, a Bruton High School student, received an Award of Excellence for Film Production.
