THS Student Wins Tidewater Science & Engineering Fair

Dozens of YCSD students competed in the 65th annual Tidewater Science and Engineering Fair on Saturday, March 12. Robin Bai from Tabb High School (THS) and the Governor’s School for Science and Technology (GSTT) won the overall grand prize and will represent the Tidewater region at the 2016 International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona. York County students also won three of the four Division Awards of Excellence:

Nir Diskin - Senior Division 1st Award of Excellence (Grafton High School and GSTT)
Sarah Lewis - Senior Division 2nd Award of Excellence (Tabb High School)
Rose Born - Junior Division 2nd Award of Excellence (Yorktown Middle School)
