Engineering Day at NNS

A group of York High School students recently participated in the Engineering Career Day event hosted by Newport News Shipbuilding at the Apprentice School gym. The purpose of the Career Day is to support the annual National Engineers week. NASA Langley, Jefferson Labs, Newport News Shipbuilding Engineering and Peninsula Engineering Council (PEC) provided students with a half day of exploration in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related career fields.
