GHS Supports Natasha House

Posted On: Friday, February 26, 2016
Jennifer Zwirschitz's Spanish Conversation and Culture class at Grafton High School (GHS) recently studied and discussed human rights issue. After spending some time focusing on homelessness, the students decided to try to make a difference in the community. They reached out to The Natasha House, a local transitional home for homeless women and children located in York County, to translate their brochure into Spanish to reach more women in need. They were then granted a presentation and tour of the facility where they presented their work to the staff and learned more about the services available to the homeless in our area.
