Yorktown Woman’s Club Art Contest Winners

Dozens of York County School Division students have been recognized by the Yorktown Woman’s Club in the club’s annual art contest. In addition to those entries that were awarded first place in a specific category, four students were named Best in Show for their respective grade level areas. Congratulations to:

Alexis Allbrook, Seaford Elementary School (grades K-2)
Madelyn Doherty, Grafton Bethel Elementary School (grades 3-5)
Tri Cartwright, Yorktown Middle School (grades 6-8)
Alyssa Shay, York High School (grades 9-12)

Best in Show and first place winners will be recognized at an art show and reception at 6:30 p.m., February 16, at the Social Hall of Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, 6218 George Washington Memorial HWY (Rt. 17) in Grafton.
