SES Students Have a Native American Powwow

Second graders at Seaford Elementary School (SES) enjoyed culminating activities to celebrate the end of a Native American Unit in History. First, the students participated in a Native American Powwow using the shakers and rain sticks they made in art class. Next, the students rotated through different second grade classrooms to participate in crafts relating to the Native Americans including making a pinch pot, sandpainting, making a buffalo skin story, and making an Indian headdress.
