Posted On: Friday, December 04, 2015

Three Bruton High School students have been named the grand prize winners in the 2015 "No 2 Distracted Driving" video contest. For the third year in a row, local Hampton Roads high school students joined with Hall Automotive, Cox Communications, Geico and Drive Smart Virginia in their commitment towards safe driving in the community by creating and submitting videos highlighting the dangers of distracted driving.

Three of the four videos selected as finalists were submitted by students at Bruton High School. The videos were posted online then, over a three week period in November, visitors to No2DD.com viewed the videos and voted for their favorites.

As the grand prize winners, Damaris Forkey, Macy Marotta and Olivia Garcia earned a cash prize of $3,500 with the school also earning a matching $3,500 award.
