Seaford Elementary Second Grade ScientistsPosted On: Friday, October 02, 2015 |
As an introduction to scientific observation and animal adaptations, Seaford Elementary School second graders examined blue crabs and discussed how they are adapted to their environment. They also listened to Two Crabs in the Moonlight, a Japanese story about crab adaptations and, as a culminating activity, created t-shirts using the ancient Japanese printing art of gyotaku! Community and parent volunteers helped students in their work. |
