YCSD Advisory: Developing Weather Conditions

The York County School Division is monitoring the developing weather conditions that are threatening the East Coast. Some schools have made adjustments to their after-school activities and programs based on weather and/or field conditions, and are communicating those changes to their school communities.

If it appears that weather conditions will impact normal school operations, we will notify our staff and parents as soon as decisions are made. As a reminder, information regarding changes to school schedules (early dismissals, delayed openings or cancellations) will be announced via Connect 5 email and phone calls. Information is also posted on the division’s website, YCSD-TV, Facebook and Twitter accounts as well as on local television and radio stations. Please remember, announcements will only be made if changes to regular school schedules occur.
