Great Kindness Challenge

York County School Division elementary schools are participating in the Great Kindness Challenge the week of January 26. The Great Kindness Challenge is a proactive and positive bully prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. The Great Kindness Challenge is one week devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible. Using a provided checklist of 50 kind acts, students take the challenge and prove that bullying is weak and kindness is strength. Various activities, such as community hero tunnels, are planned at each elementary school throughout the week.
