Spreading the Green Thumb at DES

Trysta Cassidy, a York High School junior, presented her Gold Level project for Girl Scouts to Mrs. Reames' first grade class at Dare Elementary School (DES). Trysta chose her project to educate the importance of going green to elementary students. She is re-planting trees by the Colonial Parkway that were illegally cut down, and is planning to care for them for the next two years.
