Airman 1st Class Kylee Subjinske of ACC (Command Support Squadron) and Airman 1st Class Jacob Thomas of 10th Intelligence Squadron, vice president and president of the Young AFCEANs, respectively, devoted their time and mentorship assisting Tabb High School Naval Cadets in preparation for Cyberpatriot VII. The initial round was held on October 24. The young AFCEANs assisted the cadets in their practice sessions, lending their knowledge in cyber security.

CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program, and at the center of it is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition. The competition puts teams of high school and middle school students in the position of newly-hired IT professionals tasked with managing the network of a small company. In the rounds of competition, teams are given a set of virtual images that represent operating systems and are tasked with finding cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the images and hardening the system while maintaining critical services in a six hour period.
