W!SE Blue Star Schools

Posted On: Friday, October 10, 2014

As a result of outstanding results on the W!SE (Working In Support of Education) Financial Literacy Certification Test, Grafton High School, Tabb High School, and York River Academy have been named “Blue Star Schools” for the 2013-14 school year. This national standardized test is administered to students after a course or unit on personal finance.

In order for schools to be awarded this distinction, the school must achieve a 75% pass rate and have students who took the test achieve an average score of 80% or higher. Congratulations to the students and teachers on this achievement!
